清明上河图，中国十大传世名画之一。为北宋风俗画，北宋画家张择端仅见的存世精品，属国宝级文物，现藏于北京故宫博物院。
《清明上河图》描绘了北宋时期都城东京（今河南开封）的状况，主要是汴京以及汴河两岸的自然风光和繁荣景象。
清明上河是当时的民间风俗，像今天的节日集会，人们藉以参加商贸活动。全图大致分为汴京郊外春光、汴河场景、城内街市三部分。
茶馆前街道正对面一个酒店，由于不经营早点所以才迟迟地撑起招揽顾客的旗幡，酒店开在散装货运码头，生意自然很兴隆，只是客人正在忙生意，还不到吃饭喝酒的时间，你看码头上货主正在清点要发某地的货物，码头工人正在把运来的货物堆码起来，准备根据运货地点远近，适时安排装卸，正所谓是先上船后起坡。另一条船也正在卸货，在这一、二百年树龄的大树枝叶缝隙中，可以看到粗大的帆桅及绳索，也应是六、七十吨左右排水量的大船了。酒店与茶馆之间的街道中间，有一个正在喊一位打卦算命的先生，可能要他测算一下什么事情，是婚姻、家庭还是生意，算卦先生听到来了生意，轻快的脚步可见他的喜悦之情。往街里边看过去，一家包点店的人与一位挑担买卖人正在谈事情，仿佛能听到他们在对话，明天还点什么油盐酱醋之类东西和什么时候结账之类话语，再过去又是几家店铺字号，又是一条大道伸向远方并有行人骡马行走。
背面线头埋得很好，可以清晰地看到绣工和清明上河图的脉络，其实十字绣的价格是受到刺绣唐卡的影响，刺绣唐卡价格极高，从而带起了十字绣这门刺绣艺术，要经过漫长的岁月，数万针的工艺，还原了清明上河图的艺术精髓，六米长的十字绣，是无数个日夜手工制成，其艰辛程度可想而知。
清明上河图为我国国宝三绝之一，原作为张择端，此幅为清明上河图十字绣版，重现清明上河图风采，一比一还原，绣工了得，一针一线容不得丝毫马虎，耗费数十万针，需要漫长的时间方能绣成，属于手工艺术中的瑰宝，目前最贵的元代罗地刺绣满池娇夹衫，就是手工杰作价值2.25亿，可见此幅清明上河图十字绣，绣工繁复，具有极高的收藏潜力。
